Auditions for Hayswood's production, Seussical the Musical are scheduled for May 13 and 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Hayswood Theatre on Capital Avenue in Corydon, Indiana.  Prepare a song and be ready to move and read from the script.  Needed are 40 singers, dancers, and actors ages 7 and up.  Rita Hight is directing and Dennis Blake is musical director.

Based on Dr. Seuss’s classic stories with a lively musical score by Lynne Aherns and Stephen Flaherty, the plot centers around Horton the Elephant, who finds himself faced with a double dilema. He must protect his tiny friend Jojo and the rest of the Whos from a world full of dangers, and guard an abandoned egg, left to his care by the irresponsible Mayzie Bird. Performance dates are weekends from July 12-July 28.
